IRS Installment Agreements

If you have the ability to make monthly payments on your past due tax liabilities, we can help you set up a monthly installment agreement with the IRS. There are several different kinds of payments plans that are available.

Streamline Installment Agreement

If you owe less than $25,000 we can set up on a five year Streamline Installment Agreement with the IRS. Setting up this plan simply requires that you make a monthly payment sufficient to pay off the IRS liability in five years or less. Very little financial information is needed to set up this plan.

Fresh Start Installment Agreement

If you owe more than $25,000 but less than $50,000, we can set up on a six year payment plan with the IRS. Setting up this plan requires that financial information be provided to the IRS. However, the IRS is more lenient with expense allowances that they are if you owe more than $50,000.

Budget Based Installment Agreement

If you owe the IRS more than $50,000 or you are unable to make the monthly payments required under the Streamline or Fresh Start programs, then we can help you complete a financial statement and submit an installment agreement request based upon what you can afford to pay each month.

If you do not have the ability to make a monthly payment to the IRS then we can help you request an uncollectable status with the IRS. If you need an uncollectable status with the IRS we can help you complete an IRS financial statement and talk with the IRS on your behalf to request they place you in an uncollectable status.
